What is the Aether?[]
Imagine a world where the Barbary states of North Africa existed with the Prussian empire, the French aristocracy, the Spanish inquisition and the great Dutch merchant houses. Now, imagine that world shattered by a force beyond human comprehension. Now these countries are reduced to floating islands, serviced by floating ships and clockwork dragonettes. Sky pirates and gallant privateers sail the aether, seeking riches and glory. It is a heady time of subterfuge and conflict - rife for adventures!
